Year 6 English Home Learning

Week 8

Writing

This week, we have chosen a fairly simple picture – just a pair of boots. But why are they there? Where did they come from? Who do they belong to?

Can you use your imagination to answer these questions?

Instead of drawing a picture at the end, why don’t you challenge yourself to write a short story using all of your learning over the week.

Don’t forget, we would love to see these stories on our Class Dojo, so get writing!

Reading

This week’s comprehension looks at investigating ‘A Pocketful of Stars’  and comparing 2 extracts from this text. There is also an opportunity to write in character.
