Welcome to all the children coming into Year 3 at Lionwood Junior School from Year 2 either at Lionwood Infant and Nursery School or elsewhere.  We are delighted that you have chosen our school!

Our Welcome to Lionwood Meeting for Parents is on Wednesday 13th July 2022 in the Main School Hall.

This year once again we are able to arrange Transition events for our new Year 3’s  in the last weeks of term.

We know this was so important to do, as we know that starting a new school is always a bit of an anxious time – even if the children are excited as well!  

On-Site Transition from schools outside Lionwood Federation
For children coming from a school other than Lionwood Infant and Nursery School – we would love you to join in the transition.    The child and parents can meet the Headteacher and the Year 3 staff and pupils ready for September.   can discuss any queries or concerns.

The transition days are 13th – 15th July 2022 -Just contact the school office on  (01603) 433014.

On-Site Transition for children from Lionwood Infant and Nursery School

The Year 3 Teachers will come over to visit the children on site on Wednesday 13th July and on 14th and 15th July the children will visit the Junior School to spend time in class.
