Transition 2022
13th -15th July

At Lionwood Junior we are committed to making transition into and our=t of the school as smooth as possible.  

We make sure our own transition is in the same week at the local high schools so that all our Year 6’s can attend the High School Transition without worrying about missing school events.

We also offer our past Year 6’s opportunities to come to drop in session after school when they are in Year 7 in the Autumn Term just to support them as they move up.  Just ring the office and we can give you details – all LJS Year 7’s are welcome!

We also make sure we offer new Year 2’s opportunities to get settled into the school before they start in September.  

On Wednesday 13th July there is a Year 3 Parents Welcome to Lionwood Junior Meeting at 3.30pm in the Main Hall.  Parents will meet the Head of School, staff and Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

In addition new Year 3’s, 4’s, 5’s and 6’s have opportunities during 13th – 5th July 2022 to come into school and spend some time in their classes.

If you are a parent of a new Year 3 (not in Lionwood Infant) ring the Junior School and we will give you details of times.

If you are a parent of a Year 3 children coming from LIANS, you will receive transition details from the Infant School.
