Teaching and Learning at Lionwood Junior School

We know that the educational success of the children at our school is reliant on excellent teaching, and we work relentlessly to support the foster the whole child, reflect on our teaching, and remove barriers for staff and pupils that may prevent children making the progress they need to.
We have the highest expectations for all the children and tailor our support to help children to make excellent progress whatever their starting point.
Our policy for Teaching and Learning is below – and outlines our vision for education at Lionwood which is embedded within a school community that nurtures, challenges and values the individual preparing them for the next stage in their education.
Our Teaching and Learning policy is aligned with the Teaching and Learning Policy at Lionwood Infant and Nursery School to ensure that the children make a seamless transition from Infant to Junior.
