Welcome to ‘Lion Club’

Lion Club is our After-School Club for children from Lionwood Junior and Infant Schools.  The club runs every day after school until 6pm.

The Club is included in the COVID -19 risk assessments for Lionwood Infant and Junior Schools.  Measures are in place to limit the contact between the ‘bubbles’ that the children are in during the day, but contact cannot be completely avoided at all times.

Currently it is based at Lionwood Infant School, with pupils from Lionwood Junior School walking down after school accompanied by staff.

Staffing:
Lion Club is run by Miss Lydia Read, a qualified teacher who has formerly been a class teacher at both the Infant and Junior Schools.  Miss Read is a Designated Safeguarding Lead and olds Food Hygiene Certification.

She is supported by Teaching Assistants (on a rota) from the Infant and Junior Schools – Miss Ellie Jackson, Mrs James Green, Mrs Tina Roberts, Mrs Diane Stamp, Miss Emma Sheen, Mrs Jo Smith and Mrs Becky Gale.
We have 30 places available.
