Build Relationships – Show Kindness – Value Diversity – Develop Resilience
Celebrate Learning – Take Responsibility
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Lionwood Junior School. We are an inclusive and vibrant school in Norwich, Norfolk, UK where tolerance, kindness and diversity are actively promoted and celebrated.
The staff here show an unwavering commitment to raising the standard of teaching and learning within the school while embedding trauma-informed practice. We do not underestimate the importance of building relationships and hope that you can feel the warm and positive classroom culture formed as a result.
We ensure that we meet the varying needs of the children in our care and that each child is engaged, valued and challenged through our broad and exciting curriculum and our bespoke pastoral support. We strive to improve outcomes and therefore life chances for all of our children and are proud of the thoughtful and well-planned offer we can provide throughout their time with us. We strongly believe that Lionwood Junior School is a very special place to learn and work.
We encourage parents and carers, who may be thinking of choosing Lionwood Junior School for their child, to visit us. We are always very happy to discuss how the school can meet your child’s individual needs too. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office.
We look forward to hearing from you. Faye Herron –Head of School

Our school hours are 8.50am to 3.20pm with gates open from 8.40am every day.
Children are in school for 6.5 hours a day and 32.5 hours a week which is in line with the Government’s expectation for state-funded mainstream schools.
SRB Consultation:
Lionwood Infant and Junior Schools would like to open an SRB provision in the next academic year. More details can be found in this document.
